about
the event

Following the success of the inaugural Conference in 2019, we are delighted to announce the dates for the 2021 Conference, Exhibition and Gala Dinner: 18-19 October 2021.

Cornwall and the South West of England have a long history of mining and the future is looking bright with the world’s insatiable demand for technology metals such as lithium copper and tin, as well as tungsten and cobalt.

The Conference will highlight the opportunities to responsibly extract the abundance of metals and minerals in the South West, recap on the work undertaken so far and illustrate the potential investment opportunities as well as demonstrating the importance of the growth and resurgence of the mining industry to the UK’s economy.

This is the week following LME (London Metal Exchange) week and we expect to attract many high-profile delegates, including investors, government officials, operating and exploration mining companies, as well as representation from the mining supply chain.
